Antonio Domínguez Alfonso nació en Arona el día 26 de julio de 1859, y falleció en Madrid el 28 de diciembre de 1916. Fue hijo de Antonio Francisco Domínguez Villarreal y de Josefa Alfonso Feo, naturales de Arona y San Miguel de Abona, respectivamente.
